Instruction manual for the X10 PRO Remote Chime (PHH02) — a plug-in annunciator chime designed to pair with the X10 PRO Dual Floodlight Motion Detector or any X10 PRO controller.

    Overview

The Remote Chime is designed to work with the X10 PRO Dual Floodlight Motion Detector (PHS01) to provide a pleasant annunciator chime when someone approaches. It can also be activated using the correct House Code and Unit Code from any X10 PRO controller, such as the Power Flash Interface (PSC01) or the PHC01 Mini Controller.

    Setting Up the Remote Chime

    • Using a small screwdriver, adjust the code wheels to the desired House Code and Unit Code.
    • If used with the Dual Floodlight Motion Detector, ensure the House and Unit Codes correspond to one of the "Sensor" switch settings (+1, +2, +3, or +4) on the PHS01.
    • Plug the Remote Chime into a 120V AC wall outlet.

    Testing from a Plug-in Controller

Press the ON button on a controller matching the House Code and Unit Code set on the Remote Chime. The Remote Chime responds only to unit ON commands — an OFF command has no effect. The chime plays once per ON command and will accept the next command only after fully finishing its current annunciation. It responds only to a valid X10 ON command with a matching house and unit code.
