Setup and operating instructions for the X10 LM465 Lamp Module — a plug-in remote-controlled switch for incandescent lamps.
Setup and operating instructions for the X10 LM465 Lamp Module — a plug-in X10-controlled module for switching incandescent lamps on and off remotely.
The Lamp Module plugs into a standard wall outlet and lets any X10 controller turn a connected incandescent lamp on and off. It can control an incandescent lamp rated up to 300W.
Caution: The Lamp Module is not suitable for fluorescent lamps, energy-saving lamps, low-voltage lamps, or lamps with a built-in dimmer control. Do not connect an appliance such as a coffee pot or heater to a Lamp Module — this may damage the Module and/or the appliance and could create a fire hazard. Use an Appliance Module instead for non-lamp loads.
Make sure the lamp's switch is turned on. Plug the Module into the same wall outlet as your controller, then press the On and Off buttons on the controller that correspond to the Module's Unit Code setting. If the Module turns on and off correctly, you can unplug it and move it to its permanent location. If the module doesn't respond, visit x10.com/support for troubleshooting help.
