Wiring diagram reference for the Winland WaterBug WB-800 8-zone supervised water detection panel, covering terminal block connections, power input, and buzzer/relay setup.

    Overview

This wiring illustration for the WB-800 shows a typical installation configuration:

    • 12V power from panel
    • Normally Open (N.O.) alarm output
    • Alarm timing set to seconds
    • Local buzzer (BZ-1 external buzzer) enabled
    • 8 supervised sensors (W-S-S) wired to zones 1 through 8

The panel accepts 24 VAC or 12V/24VDC input, with a Volts select switch and Min/Sec timing select. Each of the 8 zones has its own screw terminal along with common (COM) terminals shared between zone pairs.

    Terminal Block Reference

    Terminal Function
AC, AC 24 VAC power input
    AUX+, AUX– Auxiliary power output
    BELL+, BELL– Bell/siren output
RED, BLK, YEL, GRN Phone line connections (Tip/Ring)
    PGM1–PGM4 Programmable outputs
Z1–Z8, COM Zone inputs 1–8 with shared common terminals for supervised sensors (S1–S8)
    EGND Earth ground
TIP, RING, T-1, R-1 Telephone line dialer connections
    V- / Select / Volts Power select switch (12V/24V, 24VAC/24VDC)
N/C, N/O, C Relay output contacts (Normally Closed / Normally Open / Common)

    Installation Notes

    • The WaterBug sensors (W-S-S) are not polarity sensitive — either lead can connect to either terminal.
    • Set the alarm delay switch to Min or Sec depending on desired response time.
    • Buzzer can be toggled Off or On via the onboard switch; an external buzzer (BZ-1) can also be wired for a louder local alert.
