    Overview

    The W-UC-S is a stable, surface-mount water probe designed to be installed under carpet or in other flat monitoring locations. Unlike unsupervised probes, this model alarms both when water is detected and if the connecting wire is severed, providing an extra layer of fault detection. It's commonly used in hotels, utility rooms, and residential settings where a low-profile under-carpet sensor is preferred over a wall-mounted probe.

    How It Works

    The probe has four stainless steel contacts on its underside that must be mounted flush against the surface to be monitored. When mounting, drill only in the innermost center circle. Water bridging the contacts triggers an alarm; a dry surface with no bridge produces no alarm.
