Specification submittal package for TekTone® Tek-ENTRY® Vandal-Resistant Apartment Entry Systems — covers the full product line of entrance panels, apartment intercom stations, amplifiers, transformers, and accessories that make up a complete multi-unit building entry/intercom system.

AM642-Series Vandal-Resistant Entrance Panels

Anodized aluminum panels available in two sizes: 4.75"x11.25" (2-8 push buttons) and 4.75"x17.25" (10-16 push buttons or with a postal release option). Features hands-free loud-speaking, a weather-resistant Mylar speaker, self-wiping push button switches, decorative end caps, and individually replaceable name holders. Add "S" to the part number for surface mount (e.g., AM642/10S).

Required components: IR100/IR200-series Apartment Stations, PK543A Apartment Intercom Amplifier, SS102A Transformer, OH600/OH601 Back Box (flush mount).

AM492-Series Vandal-Resistant Apartment Entrance Panel

Modular design accommodating up to 18 push buttons (use AM490/12 or AM490/22 add-on panels for more apartments). Fully-enclosed back box with knockouts, individually replaceable name holders, self-wiping push buttons, optional postal release (0-10 button models). Dimensions: 16.5" H x 4" W per panel.

Required components: IR-series Apartment Intercom Stations, OF190-series Frames, OH190-series Housings, PK543A Amplifier, SS102A or SS106 Transformer.

CM491-Series & CM492-Series Vandal-Resistant Apartment Entry Panels

CM491-series is available with 4, 8, 12, 16, or 20 buttons with an integral directory. CM492-series is modular, combining button panels, directory panels, frame, and housing as needed. Engraveable solid aluminum push button actuators (up to 4 letter/digit combinations), vandal-resistant Lexan directories, tamper-resistant mounting screws. Dimensions: 16.5" H x 4" W.

Required components: IR-series Speaker-type Remote Stations, PK543A Amplifier, RP055EN Apartment Number Button Engraving, SS102A/SS106 Transformer, plus frame/housing per model (CM491: OF291/OH191; CM492: OF190-series/OH190-series or AM190D Directory Panel).

IR103E, IR104E, IR105E Apartment Intercom Stations (Flush Mount)

Momentary-action push buttons for talk, listen, and door release. Flame-retardant ABS plastic faceplates, English text, international symbols, and Braille. Wiring: IR103E uses 2 common + 1 selective wire; IR104E uses 3 common + 1 selective; IR105E uses 4 common + 1 selective. Screw terminal connections. Dimensions: 6.875"H x 5"W x 1.25"D.

Housings: IH103 mounting plate or IH101 box. Required components: AM/CM-series Entrance Panels, PK543A Amplifier, SS-series Transformers.

IR203E, IR204E, IR205E Apartment Intercom Stations (Surface Mount)

Same functionality as the IR103E/104E/105E family but designed for surface mounting. Same wiring scheme (2/3/4 common + 1 selective wire respectively). Dimensions: 6.875"H x 5"W x 1.25"D.

Housings: IH103 mounting plate, single-gang ring, or single-gang electrical box.

IR207B 4-Wire Apartment Station

Satin brushed stainless steel finish, rugged design for large or small buildings. Wiring: 3 common + 1 selective wire. Dimensions: 4.5"H x 4.5"W, mounts in a standard 2-gang electrical box.

Required components: PK543A Amplifier, PO001 Door Release, CM192/AM192 Entrance Panel, SS102A Transformer.

LI404B Strobe (Hearing-Impaired Notification)

High-intensity visual call-alert strobe for hearing-impaired residents, or anywhere a visual call indication is desired. Flashes for approximately 15-20 seconds on incoming call. Meets ADA and UL 1971 requirements (15 candela). Indoor use only — not weatherproof. Power: 24 VDC, 57mA nominal, 18AWG minimum wiring up to 750' max run. Fits standard single/dual gang electrical boxes.

Required components: Tek-ENTRY system with PK543A or PK205 Amplifier/Relay/Power Supply; for local power, add PK601A 24VDC Power Supply and SS106 Transformer.

PK124K Battery Backup Kit

Provides continuous battery charging for up to ~6 hours of standby power if main power is interrupted (varies by system size/usage). Includes transformer, battery charger, and two batteries preinstalled in a 19-gauge steel housing with knockouts on all sides. Supports DS100 Door Sentry & Emergency Alarm System, CM800 Emergency Call System, Tek-ENTRY systems, and Tek-SAFE Area of Rescue Assistance System.

PK502B Dual Entrance Control Unit

Transfers voice and door-release functions between multiple entrances on one apartment entry system — pressing a call button on any entrance panel automatically routes audio/door-release to that entrance. Located at the amplifier, small footprint (5.5"H x 3.125"W x 2"D). Works with PK543A (speaker) or PK205 (handset) systems.

PK543A Apartment Intercom Amplifier

Self-contained amplifier for 3-, 4-, or 5-wire apartment remote stations — no external amplifier needed. Adjustable voice/tone volume via front-panel screwdriver access. Supports AC, DC, or Maglock door release configurations with three selectable delayed timing modes; steady or warble call tones; selectable door button hold timeout. Power: 16VAC, 10VA. Dimensions: 5.5"H x 3.125"W x 2"D.

PK601A 24 VDC Power Supply

Filtered 24VDC output rated at 1 amp, designed for emergency call system auxiliary devices, also usable as a DC silent door opener adapter. Power requirement: 16VAC, 30VA. Dimensions: 5"H x 2.375"W x 2.25"D.

SS102A & SS106 Transformers

UL Listed Class 2 low-voltage transformers, self-protecting against overheating. SS102A: 120VAC primary, 16VAC/10VA secondary. SS106: 120VAC primary, 8VAC/20VA or 16/24VAC/30VA secondary. Compact, surface-mountable, or fit a standard ½" knockout.

PO001 Electric Door Opener

Normally-locked electric door opener for unlocking/locking doors, operates on 8-16VAC or 3-6VDC. Flat face, satin zinc finish, solid brass locking latch. Reversible for mortise-type locks/latches up to ½" width/throw and for right- or left-hand door installation.

PO101S Postal Door Release

Provides postal lock installation and microswitch control of door release devices. Rugged aluminum panel with flame-retardant ABS end caps, surface mountable (no additional housing needed), weather-resistant gasket. Dimensions: 7.25"H x 4.9"W x 1.5"D.

Housings, Frames & Cabinets Reference

The full system includes a range of flush-mount housings (IH101, IH103, OH150-OH204, OH600/OH601), flush-mount frames (OF191-OF204), desk cabinets (IH302-IH304), and surface-mount frames/housings (OF191S-OF195S, OH301/OH302) sized to match panel button-capacity. Notes for special applications:

• SF-series emergency switches: use single-gang ring, or single-gang ring plus double-gang box.
• LI-series dome lights: use double-gang ring (or ring + box).
• IR300-series nurse call stations: use Steel City #3GC and #H3BD or exact equivalent.
• IR150B-series: use Steel City #3GC and #H3BD (or ARC-CO #2GBD/#3GC if space limited).
• IR150SS Station: use OH600 flush housing, mounted horizontally.
• The last two digits of frame/housing model numbers indicate gang count (panel capacity), except IH101, IH103, OH600, OH601.
• The IH103 mounting plate attaches to a finished wall, single-gang box, double-gang box, or square masonry box.
