STI Mugger Stopper Plus #12006 — Personal Protection Alarm Manual

Installation and operation manual for the STI Mugger Stopper® Plus #12006 Personal Protection Alarm — a compact personal safety alarm with a 120 dB ear-piercing alarm, attention-grabbing strobe light, and built-in flashlight.

Overview

The Mugger Stopper Plus is designed for personal protection: it emits an ear-piercing 120 dB alarm combined with a strobe light to attract attention and deter an attacker, and can also be used to summon aid in the event of an injury or fall. It also includes a built-in flashlight, handy for finding keys or a keyhole in the dark.

Battery Installation

1. Remove the small screw on the front of the unit.
2. Push with your thumb where indicated to remove the bottom section.
3. Install a 9-volt battery.
4. Slide the bottom section back into place and replace the screw.

Operation

• To activate the alarm and strobe light: simply pull out the pin on top of the unit.
• To turn on the built-in flashlight: slide the button up on the side of the unit.

Safety Warning

The Mugger Stopper Plus alarm is extremely loud. Never place the unit close to your ears. To test the alarm, direct the unit away from you at arm's length and pull out the pin on top of the unit.
