In addition to the choice of a ferocious dog (or dogs), the Rex Plus II Electronic Watchdog also offers a siren or greeting announcer. Rex Plus II is a versatile way to deter burglars without the hassles of owning a real dog. With its electronic radar "eyes," Rex can detect motion through thick doors, walls, and glass. Once plugged into any standard 110VAC outlet, it stays on duty around the clock.

How It Works

Position Rex in any indoor location where you want to detect movement — for example, hidden behind the front door. Once turned on, it begins detecting motion and emits your selected sound. The closer an intruder gets, the more frequent the barking (or alert sound) becomes; as they back away, the frequency decreases and stops entirely once movement is out of range. A variable tap-off feature temporarily silences the unit — useful when you're answering the door yourself.
