What the Splitter | Wall Plate™ Eliminates

The diagram below compares a conventional "before" wiring setup (using a separate splitter and wall plate with two connection points) against the simplified "after" setup using the Splitter | Wall Plate™, which combines the splitter and wall plate into a single component.

Before (Conventional Setup)

• HDTV connects to a digital cable modem via coax, routed through a wall plate with a separate splitter and two visible connection points.
• The cable modem connects to a wireless router or computer via Ethernet.

After (With Splitter | Wall Plate™)

• The Splitter | Wall Plate™ combines the splitter function directly into the wall plate, eliminating a separate connector cable and the two connections it required.
• The HDTV and cable modem connect through the SWP; the modem connects onward to a wireless router or computer via Ethernet, same as before.
