    Installation instructions and specifications for the Speco Technologies POEINJ — an 802.3af/at Power over Ethernet injector for economically powering PoE-capable IP cameras.

    Description

    The POEINJ is an Ethernet power device that takes a data signal from a network switch and power from the included AC power cable, transmitting both over standard Cat5/5e/6 cable in a way that powers and delivers images from a PoE-capable camera.

    Installation Instructions

    1. Turn off power to the units and sources before starting. Installing the POEINJ while power is live may damage the units.
    2. Use an RJ45 network cable to connect the remote camera to the POEINJ through the P+D (Power + Data) / OUT connection.
    3. Use an RJ45 network cable to connect your network switch to the POEINJ's Data/In port.
    4. Connect the power adapter.
    5. Confirm all cables are securely and properly connected, then power on all units.
