    Overview

    The O2iB3M is a mega-pixel, dual-codec (H.264, MJPEG) IP/network camera delivering real-time Full HD video and audio to PCs, PDAs, or mobile phones, with bidirectional audio communication. Intensifier IP® technology uses a low-light CMOS sensor to reduce noise and ghosting in poor lighting without relying on IR LEDs. The IP66-compliant housing and embedded PoE (IEEE 802.3af) support suit it for indoor and outdoor surveillance, remote monitoring, and video conferencing applications.

    External Connections

    • Power: DC 12V input. Caution: if powered by PoE, do not also plug in an active DC power adapter simultaneously.
    • Network (LAN): 100Mbps Ethernet (RJ-45) with PoE (IEEE 802.3af)

    • MIC/Line Input — connect external audio source or microphone
    • Line Output — connect powered speakers for bidirectional audio
    • Sensor Input — white(+)/red(-) leads; connects external alarm sensors (infrared, motion, heat/smoke, magnetic). NC/NO type configurable via admin page; multiple sensors can be wired in parallel.
    • Relay Output — black(+)/yellow(-) leads; normally-open relay closes on alarm or remote-on command. Rated 30V AC/DC, 2A max — use an additional relay switch for higher voltage/current loads.
    • Factory Default Switch — found under the lower body cap. Hold 5 seconds (with power applied) to restore factory defaults; hold 1 second to safely unmount the Micro-SD card before removal.

    Quick Installation

    1. Fix the base mount to the wall and adjust the camera's rotational position for the desired view.
    2. Connect PC and O2iB3M to the network. With standard PoE, connect directly through a PoE-capable LAN switch; otherwise supply power via DC adapter alongside a standard network connection.
    3. Install Speco-NVR (included on CD) and use the ONSIP Installer to assign an IP address — select network mode (Static, ADSL and Auto/DHCP), fill ISP credentials if using ADSL, and optionally enable DDNS with a hostname.
    4. Connect via Web Viewer by entering the camera's IP address in a browser (ActiveX module required — install via Speco-NVR CD if no internet access) or via the Speco-NVR client software.
    5. Default login (both Admin Page and Speco-NVR): ID admin / Password 1234 — change immediately to prevent unauthorized access.
    6. Access the admin page directly at http://IP_Address:Port_Number/admin.htm for full configuration options.

    Troubleshooting

    Issue Resolution
    No power (Standard PoE) Verify both the camera AND the LAN switch support IEEE 802.3af standard PoE.
    No power (DC adapter) Use the provided DC adapter, or a replacement matching the camera's power requirements to avoid damage.
    Cannot connect to video Run a PING test to the camera's IP address. "Reply from" = network OK, retry video connection. "Request timed out" = check network cable/settings.
    Recording/capture issues on Vista/7 Disable UAC (User Account Control) in Control Panel, and set the NVR desktop icon's Compatibility tab to run at the correct Privilege Level.

    SD Card Replacement

    Continuous recording wears out SD card memory cells over time. To safely replace the card:

    1. Press the factory default button for 1 second to unmount the SD card (or use Admin Page → Sensor & Capture Setup → SD Card Unmount → Confirm).
    2. Unplug the SD card within 1 minute (otherwise it re-mounts automatically).
    3. Plug in the new SD card.
    4. If new/unused with this camera, format it via Admin Page → Sensor & Capture Setup → SD Card Format → Confirm.
