    Specification sheet for the UltraFlex Control Systems Quasar chain actuator — a compact electric chain actuator for vent/window automation with 300N push force and up to 500mm stroke, including AC, DC, Synchro, and F-Signal variants.

    Main Features

    • High performance in a small die-cast aluminum casing (47 x 32 mm), powder painted
    • Chain in double stainless steel links, with central chain exit
    • Quick installation — no manual closing position regulation required (electronic limit switch control handles the closing stop)
    • Electronic stop in intermediate positions in case of overload
    • SYNCHRO versions include an integrated speed synchronization control board for installing multiple actuators on the same vent without an external control panel. AC version: max 2 couples (1 Synchro AC + 1 Synchro DC). DC version: max 4 Synchro DC.
    • F-SIGNAL versions provide opening/closing feedback signal (free potential, maintained contact), activated by current limit
    • Compatible with additional locking devices E-LOCK or PLUSULTRA
    • DRAWBRIDGE version suited for bottom-hinged windows opening outward 90°, for Smoke Ventilation

    Other versions available on request: QUASAR DC with IP42 protection for higher resistance to atmospheric agents, and USA/Canada-specific versions.

    The 24Vdc version is suitable for Smoke and Heat Exhaust Ventilators (SHEV) per European Standard EN 12101-2 (tested by Istituto Giordano). The BMSline version is fully programmable (stroke, speed, force) via dedicated software connected to a computer.

    Installation Remarks

    • Installation without brackets is possible for pivoting-hinge windows only if the vent height is at least 1500mm.
    • For four-bar hinge vents, contact UltraFlex Technical Dept.
    • If installed on PVC windows, the profile must be reinforced.
    • For Building Management System control, avoid repetitive commands in the same direction.

    Drawbridge Installation Note

    Synchro Quasar DC Drawbridge is designed for bottom-hinged windows opening outward 90°. Actuators are equipped with a special guide for the chain. Contact UltraFlex Technical Department for installation limits (window size/weight) and appropriate brackets depending on profile type.

Add suffix "F-SIGNAL" when free potential open/close feedback is required.
