Overview

The SAC-1.0 is a serial adapter cable accessory from SpeakerCraft used to interface SpeakerCraft equipment via a serial connection. This document is the product's warranty card/owner's manual insert.

Limited 5-Year Warranty

SpeakerCraft Inc. warrants to the original retail purchaser only that this SpeakerCraft product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 5 years, provided it was purchased from a SpeakerCraft Authorized Dealer.

• Defective products must be shipped, together with proof of purchase, prepaid and insured, to the SpeakerCraft Authorized Dealer from whom they were purchased, or to the SpeakerCraft factory. Freight collect shipments will be refused.
• Ship the product in its original container to reduce the chance of transit damage; risk of loss or damage in transit is borne by the purchaser.
• If a unit is found to be defective in materials or workmanship during the warranty period, SpeakerCraft or the Authorized Dealer will, at its option, repair or replace the product at no additional charge (except as noted).
• If the model is no longer available and cannot be repaired effectively, SpeakerCraft may replace it with a current model of equal or greater value; if mounting surface modification is required for a substituted model, SpeakerCraft assumes no responsibility or liability for such modification.
• All replaced parts and products become the property of SpeakerCraft Inc. Repaired/replaced products are returned to the original purchaser, freight prepaid, within a reasonable time.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, disaster, misuse, abuse, negligence, inadequate packing or shipping procedures, commercial use, voltage inputs in excess of the rated maximum, or unauthorized service/repair/modification. Normal cosmetic deterioration caused by environmental conditions is also excluded. The warranty is void if the product's serial number has been removed, tampered with, or defaced.

This warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties. The purchaser's sole remedy for a defective product is repair or replacement as described above. SpeakerCraft is not liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the product. Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of consequential damages or limitation on the duration of implied warranties, so these limitations may not apply depending on your state.
