    Installation manual for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER AS-6111Q Motion Entry Alert — a battery-operated audible motion sensor for indoor door/passageway monitoring.

    Overview

    The AS-6111Q is a simple-to-install audible motion alert for indoor use with no wiring required. It's designed as a door annunciator or for monitoring passageways in homes, offices, and commercial spaces. The CDS light sensor detects sudden changes in visible light and sounds a doorbell-style alert when triggered. It is not designed to be a security device and should never be used for security purposes.

    Installation & Important Notes

    1. This device is for motion alerts only — it is not a security device.
    2. The sensor detects sudden changes in visible light and is not suitable for areas of total darkness or facing a strong light source. Indoor locations only — do not install where exposed to moisture, extreme temperatures, or direct sunlight.
    3. Mounting: For use as a door annunciator, mount on the wall next to the door frame with the sensor hole facing the door. It can also be installed anywhere someone is expected to pass. Normal installation height is 20"–40" (50–100cm) above the floor; detection range is 10ft (3m).
    4. The sensor can be mounted using the included adhesive tape on a clean, dry, smooth surface. For a more permanent installation with the included screws, first remove the sensor from the bracket by carefully expanding the bracket arms until the sensor pulls free, then install the bracket with the two screws.
    5. Carefully remove the battery cover by pressing and sliding outward. Install 3 AAA batteries (not included) observing correct polarity, then replace the cover.
    6. Re-install the sensor onto the bracket and turn it to adjust the direction.
    7. When batteries run low, the device will frequently activate falsely — replace all three batteries with fresh ones at the same time when this happens.
    8. When not used for long periods, remove the batteries to protect the internal electronics.
