    USB Charging

The alarm clock has a USB charging port on the back panel (500mA output) for charging mobile phones, portable music players, and other USB-chargeable devices. Connect your device's USB charging cable to the port and check your device's charging indicator to confirm it's charging. Charging time varies by device.

    Battery Backup

Install 2 AA (UM-03) alkaline batteries under the battery cover on the back of the clock for backup power. During a power failure, the LED display will not show, but the clock continues running and keeping accurate time until power is restored.

For best results, change the battery every 6–8 months. If the clock will not be used for a while, remove the battery to avoid leakage.

    DC Power Input

Attach the DC power supply to the input on the back of the clock labeled "DC5V IN." Important: do not confuse the DC input with the vibrator input.
