Owner's manual for the Sonic Alert Sonic Boom Alarm Clock with Bed Shaker (Model SB1000V) — a loud, extra-strong alarm clock with vibrating bed shaker and remote receiver support for the hearing impaired.
The Sonic Boom SB1000V is designed to wake even the deepest sleepers using a combination of loud alarm tones, a bright flashing display/lamp, and a bed shaker (vibrator) placed under the mattress or pillow. It's compatible with Sonic Alert wireless remote transmitters for signaling doorbells, telephones, and baby cries.
Press and hold the ALARM button for six seconds. The display shows the default alarm duration ("30"), then release the ALARM button.
The clock has a built-in auto dimmer for the display.
In the event of a power interruption, the clock can run on a 9V battery (not included) to preserve the time and alarm settings until power is restored.
The SB1000V works with Sonic Alert wireless remote transmitters, including:
To enable remote receiver functionality, locate the RECEIVER ON/OFF button and set it to ON. Press and hold the ALARM OFF button for 3 seconds to toggle the receiver between ON and OFF status — a round indicator light at the top right corner shows the current status. The factory default setting is ON. If you are not using Sonic Alert remote transmitters, set the mode to OFF.
