Product brochure for the Somfy DecoFlex WireFree™ RTS wall switch — a battery-powered, personalizable window covering control switch using Radio Technology Somfy® (RTS).

Overview

The DecoFlex WireFree™ RTS battery-powered wall switch features RTS and may be personalized for intuitive control of window coverings. It's available fully assembled in one- and five-channel button versions, or can be converted to a two-, three-, or four-channel button switch. Available in white, ivory, or black to match any décor. Compatible with the full range of Somfy RTS handheld transmitters, timers, and interfaces — suitable for shades, blinds, draperies, rolling shutters, awnings, and other window coverings.

Each switch ships with a wall mounting bracket, blank channel button(s), temporary stick-on channel button labels, and a wall plate. Optional screw-less wall plates are available through local home improvement retailers.

Easy to Use

Select the appropriate channel button(s) — the adjacent amber LED(s) illuminate. Press the command button (up, down, stop) to adjust the selected window covering(s) to the desired position.

Note: if a command button is pressed without a channel button selected, the switch defaults to the previously selected channel button(s).

Simple to Install

No wiring required — installation is quick and simple. Each switch ships with an extended-life lithium battery, eliminating the need for an electrician. The switch can be installed independently or next to an existing light switch, using the included wall mounting bracket and appropriate wall plate.

Personalizing the Switch

Convert to 2, 3, or 4 Channel: single- and five-channel versions ship fully assembled; converting to a 2/3/4-channel version just requires selecting the corresponding face plate for the DecoFlex WireFree™ RTS wall switch base assembly. Reference the Somfy price list for ordering.

Printed Channel Buttons: replace blank or stick-on-labeled channel buttons with printed ones. Each channel button can control an individual window covering or a group. Buttons are available in white, ivory, and black. Example channel button labels include Kitchen, Bathroom, Foyer, Office, Shade/Shade 1–4, Bedroom, Dining Rm, Sun Room, Living Rm, Great Rm, Balcony, Patio, Deck, Blind/Blind 1–4, Awning, Blackout, Sheer, Skylight, Shutter/Shutter 1–4, Woven, Drapery, Guest Rm, Screen/Screen 1–4, Lobby, Theater, Heater, Roman, Study, Lanai, Den, Lights, Master, Morning, Night, Nursery, Conf. Rm.

Command Buttons: Open and Close buttons are for interior window coverings, exterior solar screens/shades, and rolling shutter applications — not for use with awnings.
