Skylink UR-100 Universal Garage Door Opener Receiver — Installation Instructions

Installation instructions for the Skylink Universal Receiver UR-100 — a universal garage door opener receiver that connects to your existing garage door push button and pairs with a Skylink transmitter.

Overview

The UR-100 plugs into a standard electrical outlet inside the garage and wires directly to your existing garage door push button, letting you add wireless remote/keypad control to a garage door opener using a compatible Skylink transmitter.

Installation

1. Plug the UR-100 into an electrical outlet inside the garage.
2. Connect a wire (included with the UR-100 kit) from the UR-100 to the existing garage door push button.
3. Set the DIP switches on both the Skylink transmitter and the UR-100 so that their DIP settings match each other — this is required for them to communicate properly.
4. Refer to the UR-100 user's instructions to set the operation frequency and/or brand jumper setting for the Skylink transmitter.
5. All done — the transmitter can now trigger your garage door opener through the UR-100.

Note: DIP switch settings must match exactly between the transmitter and the UR-100 receiver for reliable operation. If the door doesn't respond, double-check both sets of DIP switches and the brand/frequency jumper setting before troubleshooting further.
