    Quick guide for the SkylinkNet SK-200 Alarm System Starter Kit — Internet Hub, motion sensor, window/door sensors, and keychain remote, set up via the SkylinkNet app.

    Package Contents

    Batteries required (not always included): 6 x AAA and 1 x AA to fully set up the system.

    1. Install the Internet Hub

    1. Connect the Hub to an available port on your Internet Router using the Ethernet cable.
    2. Plug in the power adapter.
    3. Insert 4 x AAA batteries in the Hub for backup power in case of a power outage (optional).

    2. Insert Batteries for Sensors

    1. Window/Door Sensor: slightly push both sides and pull out the cover to insert an AAA battery.
    2. Motion Sensor: use a coin to open the case and insert an AA battery.

    3. Download the SkylinkNet App & Create an Account

    1. Open the App Store, search "SkylinkNet," and download the free app. Note: only the "SkylinkNet" app works with the Internet Hub.
    2. Open the app, enter your information, and tap "Sign Up."
    3. Check your email to activate your account, then tap "Continue" to log in.

    4. Set Up the Internet Hub

    1. Tap "Set up Hub >" then "Initialize a new Hub >."
    2. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the Internet Hub.
    3. Enter your information and tap "Continue."
    4. Follow the on-screen prompts to reset the Internet Hub, then tap "Continue."
    5. The Hub is added — a green or red dot indicates whether it's connected.

    5. Add Sensors and Keychain Remote

    1. Go to "More" and tap "System Settings," then "Setup Wizard," then "Add Device."
    2. Tap "Sensors" or "Security Remote." (If Security Remote, skip to Step 6 below.)
    3. Select the sensor type, name it and its location, then tap "Continue."
    4. Tap "Learn Now" and follow the video to activate the sensor.
    5. Trigger the sensors to confirm the app shows sensor status correctly. Note: motion sensors show a flashing red LED when triggered, and won't re-trigger for 15 seconds after motion clears.

    Setup Hub Keypad Password & Time Zone

    Go to "More" → "System Settings" → "Hub Keypad Password" to set a passcode, or → "Time Settings" to set your time zone.

    Home Screen Overview

    • Online/Offline: shows the hub name and connection status.
    • Sensors: icons show blue (inactive) or red (activated).
    • Receivers: push icons are black.
    • Settings: configure individual sensors, remotes, or receivers via the gear icon.

    Sensor Settings

    • Learn: pair the sensor to the hub (if "Learn Later" was selected during setup).
    • Rename: change the sensor's name.
    • Delete: remove this sensor from the hub.
    • Push Notification: receive an alert any time a new activity takes place.
    • Alarm Settings: select when this sensor should activate an alarm.
    • Chime: if enabled, the hub sounds an alert chime when this sensor is activated.

    Placing the Sensors

    Mount the Window/Door Sensor on a door or window using the included double-sided tape (can also be used to monitor cabinets and safes). The Motion Sensor can be mounted with double-sided tape or screws in a corner, straight wall, ceiling, or set freely on a stand.

    Arm/Disarm & Alarm Screen

    • Arm Home: protects your home while you're inside — deactivates motion sensors but leaves other sensors active.
    • Arm Away / Exit Delay: activates the alarm after a default delay, giving you time to leave and return.
    • Disarm: tap the "Disarm" button to disarm the system.
    • When an alarm is triggered, a push notification is sent to all users and your smartphone plays an alarm sound.
    • Slide the on-screen control to activate the hub's siren manually in an emergency.

    Keychain Remote

    Arm Home, Arm Away, Disarm buttons for quick control. Press and hold the Panic Button for 5 seconds to activate it.

    Event Log

    Go to "More" → "System Settings" → "Event Log" to see all recent alarm system activity.
