Manual for the Skylink R3R Garage Door Receiver — a universal receiver designed to operate most garage door and gate operators, with an operating voltage of 12V to 24V AC or DC.

    Installation

    1. Wiring connection: Red wire connects to 24V, white wire connects to common, black wire is the relay output (connects to relay).
    2. Antenna wire: Do NOT remove the gray antenna wire — keep it upright to receive signals from the transmitter.
    3. Learn button: Used to program or erase a transmitter.
    4. Red LED light status:
      • Stays on — receiver is powered
      • Flashes slowly — learning a transmitter
      • Flashes rapidly — erasing learned transmitter(s)

Programming a Transmitter to the Receiver

You can program up to 6 single-button remotes to the receiver.

    1. Ensure power is connected and the red LED is on.
    2. Pry off the bottom cover, press and release the Learn button on the receiver — the red LED flashes slowly.
    3. Press the desired button on the remote you want to program.
    4. The receiver's red LED stops flashing and stays on, indicating programming is complete.
    5. Repeat to program another transmitter.
    6. Put the bottom cover back on.

    Erasing Transmitters from the Receiver

To erase an unwanted transmitter, all programmed transmitters must first be erased, then reprogram each one you wish to keep.

    1. Program the remotes you want to use to the receiver (so you know their codes).
    2. Press and hold the Learn button for 6 seconds — the red LED flashes rapidly, indicating all learned remotes have been erased. Release the button.
    3. Program the remotes you want to use back to the receiver.
