Installation instructions for the Simply45 S45-2024U 24-Port Unloaded Keystone Patch Panel — unshielded, 1RU, with rear cable management bracket and numbered/labeled ports.

Installation Steps

1. Mount the panel to the desired position on a standard 483 mm (19 in.) ready rack or equivalent.
2. Terminate cables: follow the RJ45 keystone module's installation instructions to finish cable termination on each RJ45 module before mounting it in the panel.
3. Install modules: position the cable-assembled RJ45 module from the back of the panel, then snap it into the RJ45 window all the way down until the latch on the module locks into the panel. Repeat in sequence until all required RJ45 modules are installed (panel has 24 numbered ports).
4. Cable management grip: expand the Foldable Cable Management Grip and hook the grips into the fixture at both ends of the patch panel (attaches to the rear Cable Management Bracket).
5. Secure cables: fix the solid cables to the cable fixture holes using cable ties.
