    Full text manual (for reference)

    Package Contents

Includes the HD 30P telephone base, handset, phone cord, and wall-mount hardware.

    Connections

Connect the phone as illustrated in the included diagram, then lift the handset to test. If you hear a dial tone, the telephone is ready. If not, check all connections again.

    Feature Identification

    • Handset hook — for wall-mounting use only
    • One-touch memory dialing buttons — with photo insert capability
    • Hold — puts a call on hold and mutes the handset; lift the handset or quick-press the hook switch to release

    • Save — stores the just-dialed number for one-touch re-dialing later
    • Flash — switches between the current call and a call waiting
    • Redial — redials the last number dialed
    • Ringer Volume — selects a ringing volume level

    • Tone — enhances speech clarity; positions 1–4 enhance low, mid, mid-high, and high tone respectively

    • Call-on-hold visual indicator
    • Amplifier Auto On/Off — ON: amplifier activates automatically and returns to the previous level every time the handset is lifted. OFF: you must press Amplify manually each time.

    Amplifying Incoming Sounds Automatically

    1. Slide the Amplifier Auto On/Off switch on the underside to ON.
    2. While on the phone, adjust the Volume switch to a comfortable sound level.
    3. Adjust the Tone switch until incoming voice is clear — only needed the first time; the setting is remembered.
    4. The telephone will return to the same amplifier setting automatically on every future call.
    5. To turn off the amplifier, press the Amplify button; press again to restore the previous setting.

    Amplifying Incoming Sounds Manually

    1. While on the phone, press Amplify to turn the amplifier on (it lights up).
    2. Adjust the Volume switch to a comfortable level.
    3. Adjust the Tone switch until the incoming voice is clear. This only needs to be done the first time.

Programming a Number for One-Touch Memory Dialing

    1. Lift the handset, press PROG.
    2. Dial the phone number to save (maximum of 15 digits).
    3. Press PROG again.
    4. Press the memory button to store the number under, then hang up.

Inserting a Photo in a Memory Button

Cut your photo using the included template as a guide. Lift the transparent cover of the memory button, insert the photo, and replace the cover.

    Wall Mounting

    1. Slide out the handset hook, turn it upside down, and reinsert — this keeps the handset in place when wall-mounted.
    2. Fit the wall-mount bracket into the base of the phone.
    3. Connect the short phone cord. Align the mounting holes over the wall plate screw heads (adjust screw protrusion with a screwdriver if needed) and slide the phone down slightly to lock it in place.
