    Installation manual for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER® SM-4201-LxQ Track-Mount Overhead-Door Magnetic Contacts — a rugged, aluminum-housed magnetic contact set designed for garage doors and roll-up doors in industrial and residential settings. Available in three switch configurations: SM-4201-LQ (SPST closed loop), SM-4201-L3Q (SPDT open/closed loop), and SM-4201-L6Q (DPDT open/closed loop).

    Installation

    Contact and magnet must be installed on the protected side of the door. Installation shown in the full PDF is for the SM-4201-LQ; other models will differ slightly. Please read the full manual before beginning.

    1. Mount the contact on the track in a safe location away from equipment interference and near where the magnet will be when the door is closed.
    2. Run the armored cable out of the way. Run wires from the alarm control panel and connect to the corresponding wires extending from the cable armor.
    3. Mount the magnet on the roll-up door so that it will trigger the contact when the door is closed. Be sure the gap between the contact and magnet does not exceed 3" (76mm).

    Warranty

    Limited Lifetime Warranty: Warranted against defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the product when used in normal service, for products sold and installed in the US and Canada (1 year for all other countries). SECO-LARM's obligation is limited to repair or replacement of any defective part if the unit is returned, transportation prepaid. SECO-LARM is not responsible for costs of removal, installation, or reinstallation.
