User manual for the SECO-LARM SL Access smartphone app used to manage and unlock ENFORCER Bluetooth Access Controllers.

    Full text manual (for reference)

User manual for the SECO-LARM SL Access™ smartphone app, used to manage and unlock ENFORCER Bluetooth® Access Controllers (e.g., SK-B241-PQ and related models) from an iOS or Android phone.

    What You Need

    • An ENFORCER® Bluetooth® Access Controller
    • A smartphone equipped with Bluetooth® LE 4.0
    • The SL Access app (supports iOS 11.0+ or Android 5.0+)
    • If your device includes a proximity reader, you may also use a proximity card or key fob (ask your installer/administrator)

    Privacy

SECO-LARM respects your privacy. No data or personal information is shared with SECO-LARM or any other party by the SL Access app, and none is uploaded to the cloud. See www.seco-larm.com/legal.html for the full privacy policy.

    Getting Started

    1. Download and install the SL Access app from your device's app store. Set your smartphone to automatically download app updates to keep the latest version. The app defaults to English if your device language isn't supported.
    2. On the home screen you'll see: the Login icon, Device Name, Settings icon, Current Device Distance (a relative signal-strength number), the Locked icon, the Auto selector, the Auto Proximity Range setting, and the app version.
    3. On first opening the app you may be asked to enable Bluetooth — it must be enabled and the device must be in range. If you see "Searching…" at the top of the screen, move closer to the device (practical Bluetooth range is about 60 ft / 20m, less with obstacles/interference) or exit and reopen the app.

    Choosing the Desired Device

The device with the strongest signal appears in black text at the top of the screen. If your desired device isn't shown there, tap that area to open a popup and select the device you want to log in to. After selecting, the device name turns gold to confirm the selection.

    Logging In

    1. Tap the Login icon in the top left corner.
    2. Enter the User ID and Passcode assigned by your administrator, then tap Confirm.

You should see the center icon moving and hear a short beep with a popup confirming "You are now logged in." Note: the Login icon remains visible even after successful login — there's no other on-screen indicator that you're logged in. You can also type your passcode followed by "#" on the keypad (if your device has one) to unlock the door directly without opening the app.

    Basic Operation

With the correct device shown at the top of the home screen, press the center "Locked" button. The icon changes to "Unlocked" and the door remains unlocked for the duration set by the administrator. The "Unlocked" icon itself only stays on screen for about 5 seconds — the actual unlock duration is set separately by the administrator and may not match the icon's display time.

    Auto (Hands-Free) Operation

For hands-free operation, open the app and select "Auto" from the bottom of the home screen. This automatically unlocks the door when your phone is within the configured proximity range.

    • You should see the center icon moving and hear a short beep with a "You are now logged in" popup.
    • The app must be loaded and the phone screen on for automatic unlocking to work.
    • If you have more than one keypad/reader, make sure the correct one is connected.
    • Adjust the proximity range for your specific phone and environment to avoid accidental unlocking.

    Settings

Tap the Settings icon on the home page (the "Auto" button must be turned off to access Settings). From here you can reach Help, the Legal Notices/Privacy Policy page, About (app version and SECO-LARM contact info), and the Auto Proximity Range slider.

    Setting the Auto Proximity Range

    1. On the Settings page, tap the "Auto Proximity Range" line.
    2. Hold your phone at the approximate distance where you want the device to auto-unlock, and note the "Current Device Distance" number shown (this is a relative number based on current Bluetooth signal strength and may vary between phones).
    3. Move the Auto Proximity Range slider to that noted number.

Note: the Auto Proximity Range setting applies only to the app's Auto Unlock feature and has no effect on the range of proximity cards or fobs.

    Troubleshooting

    Problem Suggested Fix
The device area keeps saying "Searching…" Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is on; move closer to the device; close and restart the app.
I can't log in Check that your username is typed correctly (including case and no trailing spaces) and your access code is correct. Contact your device administrator for help.
"Auto" unlock isn't working Ensure you're within the set proximity range; the app must be loaded and the phone screen must stay on while approaching the device.
