    Wiring Harness Color Code

    Wire Function
    Red Power (+)
    Black Power (–)
    White COM

    Yellow N.C. fail-safe

Important: Use the blue wire for fail-secure applications and the yellow wire for fail-safe applications — insulate the unused wire's end with electrical tape. To protect the relay, install the enclosed diode (cathode toward the positive side) for DC-powered locks, or the varistor (MOV) for AC-powered locks and electromagnetic locks — unless your lock has a diode/varistor already built in. Failure to do so voids the warranty.

    Installation Overview

    1. Connect wiring: Feed wires into a non-metal back box and connect to the wiring harness using the included crimp connectors.
    2. Plug wiring harness in: Plug the harness into the terminal block on the keypad, noting the orientation of the tabs.
    3. Mount keypad to back box: Use the provided security screws to install the keypad into the back box, taking care not to crimp wires or loosen connections.

Important: Do not install into any type of metal back box — this will affect Bluetooth® reception. A reset jumper (used only to restore factory defaults) is accessible on the keypad's back — see the Installation Manual for the reset procedure.
