Installation Manual and Administrator Guide for the Seco-Larm ENFORCER Bluetooth Access Controller (SK-B111-PQ) — app-based access control via the SL Access app.
Installation Manual and Administrator Guide for SECO-LARM's ENFORCER Bluetooth® Access Controllers (including the SK-B111-PQ Indoor Bluetooth Keypad with Proximity Reader) — app-based access control managed via the SL Access™ app, with no codes to memorize, no cloud dependency, and support for up to 1,000 users per device.
ENFORCER Bluetooth Access Controllers use fully integrated Bluetooth® wireless technology for streamlined setup and management as well as easy user access. All data is secured on the device itself — set and monitored entirely by the administrator, with no cloud or internet exposure. Beyond doors, these controllers can also manage gates, lighting, machinery, and other devices.
In addition to the device's box contents, you will need:
Notes: Enable automatic app updates. The app defaults to your phone's language if supported (English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, German, Vietnamese, Traditional/Simplified Chinese), otherwise English. Devices use EEPROM memory, so stored data survives power outages.
Follow the mounting instructions included with your particular product; crimp connectors are included for wiring. The wiring diagram below applies to all models (pictured: Single-Gang Keypad):
Important: To protect the relay, install the enclosed diode — cathode (striped end) toward the positive side — for DC-powered locks, and install the varistor (MOV) for AC-powered locks and electromagnetic locks, unless your lock has a diode/MOV built in. Failure to do so will void the warranty. Use the blue wire for fail-secure applications and the yellow wire for fail-safe applications; insulate any unused wire end with electrical tape.
IF USING THE KEYPAD WITH A MECHANICALLY OPERATED DOOR OR GATE, MOUNT THE KEYPAD AT LEAST 15' (5m) FROM THE DOOR OR GATE TO PREVENT USERS FROM BEING CRUSHED OR PINNED. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
| State | Green LED | Blue LED | Red LED |
|---|---|---|---|
| Steady | Output activated / door always unlocked / toggle unlocked | Powered on, standby | Invalid access attempt / door always locked activated |
| Flashing | — | ADMIN settings opened (overrides other indicators) | — |
| Status | Sounds* | LED |
|---|---|---|
| In programming mode | – | Steady ON |
| Successful key entry | 1 Beep | ON for relock duration |
| Successful code/card entry | 1 Beep | ON for relock duration |
| Unsuccessful code/card entry | 3 Beeps | 1 Flash |
| Wrong code lockout | 3 Beeps | 1-Second flashes red/blue for lockout duration |
*Keypad sounds can be programmed ON/OFF, but output sounds remain active.
Change the default passcode immediately for security. The ADMIN ID cannot be changed and there is only one ADMIN account. Bluetooth LE only connects briefly to send a signal — there is no persistent "logged in" state, and only one phone's credentials can be remembered at a time.
The ADMIN can override the global mode for individual users. Remain Unlocked/Remain Locked are ADMIN-only settings that immediately change door state; other users' actions are logged in the Audit Trail but don't override these states.
Toggle overrides other modes: if the device is unlocked via Toggle, another user set to Toggle will relock it; a Timed Relock user has no effect on an already-toggled-unlocked door (but is still logged). This is useful for a manager toggling a business open/closed while employees on Timed Relock still get individual access logging.
The ADMIN can set Output Mode (Global) to Remain Unlocked to hold a door open indefinitely (only ADMIN can relock). Alternatively, set an individual user's Output Mode to Toggle so they can hold-open/relock — useful for a shared "Business Hours" or "Hold Open" UserID that opens at start of day and relocks at close, while other employees remain on Timed Relock for individual logged entries.
After too many wrong codes/unregistered cards (3~10, ADMIN-configurable), the device locks out for 1~5 minutes (ADMIN-configurable). During lockout, only the ADMIN app can interrupt it — not the keypad or card.
The tamper alarm uses a 3-axis accelerometer to detect vibration indicating possible tampering. Default is enabled, High Sensitivity, 255-minute alarm duration (adjustable 1~255 minutes). It sounds an internal buzzer and triggers any connected external alarm until the time expires or the ADMIN disables it.
Unlocks the door automatically as your phone gets close to the device — convenient when hands are full. Requires the app open with the screen on; depends on Bluetooth signal strength (varies by phone/environment), so you must calibrate the Auto Proximity Range for your specific phone. You cannot open Settings while Auto is enabled — disable it first on the home screen.
Custom Output Mode and relock time can also be set per user, overriding the global default.
Stores the last 1,000 events (oldest overwritten once the limit is reached), sortable by date/time, most recent first. Columns include the user/event ID and the method or error ("By" column). Logged conditions include: access outside a scheduled time window, tamper alarm triggers, exceeded entry limits/time windows, method used (APP/Keypad/Card-Fob), toggle lock/unlock actions, unregistered ID attempts (recording the attempted card code or last 7 digits of an attempted passcode, prefixed with an asterisk), restricted-method attempts, "Door forced open" (door forced or left open past relock time — requires a door sensor), and RTE (egress button) presses.
The audit trail is downloaded as a .CSV file named "Device Name_Audit_YYYYMMDD_HHMM.csv" (24-hour format), openable in any spreadsheet program. During download, the device is inaccessible to users except via the egress button (not logged during download).
Device settings (including ADMIN passcode and proximity card, but not user data) can be backed up and restored. On Android, the backup file ("Device Name_Backup.bp") can be moved off-device and used to replicate settings to another device by renaming the file to match the target device's name — replication is Android-only (not available on iOS).
Resetting only the ADMIN passcode:
Full factory reset (clears user list, audit trail, and all settings): follow steps 1–4 above but continue waiting through a second short beep, then a long beep (full reset starting), then wait for one more short beep (reset complete) before restoring the jumper and powering back on. Note: jumper pin numbering is reversed on the SK-B241-PQ model. On firmware 2.21, a factory reset preserves the device name; on firmware 2.22+, the device name is also reset.
For large user lists, export the CSV file and edit it in a spreadsheet program (e.g. Excel), importing as UTF-8 delimited text, editing only non-header/non-Column-A fields, keeping User ID/Passcode/Card# unique, matching existing date (YYYY-MM-DD) and 24-hour time formats, then re-saving as "CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited)" before transferring the renamed file back to the phone's app data folder for import.
Firmware update notices appear on the SECO-LARM product page. Download the SL Access OTA Firmware Update Guide for instructions — firmware updates can only be installed via an Android phone.
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| LED flashes red/blue, device inaccessible | Wrong-code lockout active — wait it out, or ADMIN can interrupt via the app. |
| Lost the ADMIN passcode | Use the ADMIN passcode reset procedure (jumper pins 2–3). |
| Device doesn't show on home screen | Move closer; exit and reopen the app. |
| Lost the ADMIN's phone | Log in from another phone with the ADMIN passcode; change the passcode immediately and remotely erase the lost phone. |
| Home screen always says "Log In" even after logging in | Normal — Bluetooth LE doesn't maintain a persistent connection; no need to re-login for the same device. |
| "Door forced open" logged but no one forced entry | Same message covers a door propped open past the relock time — device can't distinguish the two. |
| Lock icon shows locked even though door is unlocked | Bluetooth LE only sends the unlock signal briefly and can't confirm relock status. |
| A user can't unlock the door | Verify correct ID/passcode, that they're within their scheduled window or entry-count limit, and AM/PM time settings are correct. |
| Can't find the settings backup file on iOS | The backup file is not user-accessible on iOS devices (Android only). |
