    Full text manual (for reference)

Instruction manual for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER SD-6x76-SSxQ series Outdoor Piezoelectric Request-to-Exit Pushbuttons — IP65-rated touch buttons with programmable relay timing, LED color options, and (on -SSVQ models) a manual override button.

    Overview

These piezoelectric push buttons are rated for indoor or outdoor use (IP65) and change their LED ring color from green to red (or red to green) when pressed. The relay is rated 2A@30VDC with two individually programmable outputs (NO/NC), and output can be set to timed or toggle mode. The -SSVQ variants include a separate manual override button in case power to the piezoelectric switch fails.

    Model Variants

    • SD-6176-SSQ — Slimline plate, "TOUCH/EXIT"
    • SD-6176-SS1Q — Slimline plate, "EXIT/SALIDA"

    Parts List

    • 1x Piezoelectric push button
    • 2x Mounting screws
    • 2x Wires for manual override (SSVQ models only)
    • 1x Manual

    Installation

    1. Prepare wiring to provide 12~24 VDC power and connect devices to the relay outputs (there's one relay with two outputs; both trigger simultaneously but can be configured independently — see Relay Output Modes below).
    2. Remove the plastic cover from the rear of the switch and carefully pierce the rubber grommet.
    3. On SD-6176-SSVQ and SD-6276-SSVQ, wire the manual override button (see below).
    4. Wire the switch per the terminal block diagram: connect (-) and (+) to a 12~24 VDC power source, and connect other devices to Outputs 1 or 2.
    5. Replace the plastic switch cover and screw the plate onto the mounting surface.

Wiring the Manual Override (SSVQ models only)

Connect the manual override button with the included wires:

    • Wiring for N.O.: Connect the two wires between the NO and COM terminals of the override button and the Output 1 or 2 terminals on the switch.
    • Wiring for N.C.: Connect the two wires between the NC and COM terminals of the override button and the Output 1 or 2 terminals on the switch.

Notes: Remove the thin panel on the bottom of the plastic cover to allow wiring to pass through. There is only one relay — wiring the button to either output allows the other output to trigger simultaneously. Do not connect the override button to more than one output. When wiring for N.O. or N.C., also set the Relay Output Mode to match, or the product may not function as expected.

    Configuring the Pushbutton

    • Buzzer Output (jumper JP3): Left = ON (default), Right = OFF.
    • Relay Output Mode (jumpers JP1/JP2, independent per output): Right = N.O. (default), Left = N.C. Both outputs trigger simultaneously.
    • LED Ring Colors: ON = green in standby, red when triggered. OFF (default) = red in standby, green when triggered.
    • Switch Output Type: TIMER (default) = relay triggers for the set time when pressed. TOGGLE = relay triggers until pressed again.
    • Timer Adjustment: Output duration adjustable 1~30 seconds (must be set to Timer mode) via trimpot — counterclockwise decreases time, clockwise increases (default: 1s).

    Sample Installation

A common application pairs the pushbutton with an electromagnetic lock (fail-safe) and an LED strobe light for a complete request-to-exit setup.
