Overview

The SA-025Q is suitable for use with a wide range of timed security and access control products. DIP switches for programming and auto-sensing of input voltage make installation straightforward — no jumpers to cut.

Features

• Timer settable from 1 second to 60 minutes
• Can be triggered by positive voltage (+DC), or by closure or opening of a dry contact
• Relay can be programmed to activate at the start or end of the timing cycle
• Relay can also be set to activate for one second at the end of the timing cycle
• Programmable for pulse (flash) activation
• Built-in reset function to manually reset the timing cycle
• Form C relay, contacts rated 8A @ 120VAC / 24VDC
• LED indicates when the relay is energized
• 12VDC/24VDC operation, auto-sensing
• Current draw: 1mA standby, 50mA active
• Board size: 2⅞" x 2½" (73 x 63 mm)
• Functions programmed entirely via DIP switches

Sample Application

The SA-025Q connected to an electric strike (SD-995C) and a Normally Open (N.O.) contact or switch. The output is set via the DIP switches for a momentary trigger with no delay. In this configuration:

• An N.O. contact or switch triggers the TRG input.
• The relay's NO/COM/NC terminals connect to the electric strike (SD-995C).
• Power supply: +12~24 VDC to the board, (-) to ground.
