Web/software setup manual for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER IP fixed cameras EV-N1506-2W4Q (bullet, 2.8mm, 5MP/1440p, 12VDC) and EV-N2506-2W4Q (turret, 2.8mm, 5MP/1440p, 12VDC) β covers device search, connection, live view, playback, and full remote configuration via the camera's web interface.
Note: all screen images in the manual are simulated.
Install the Device Config Tool from the included CD (separate installers for Mac and PC). Follow the installer prompts (Next β choose install location β Install β Finish), checking the box to launch the Device Config Tool when done.
Use the Device Search tool to locate the camera's IP address on the network and connect to it. Key controls: Search (finds cameras and reveals IP), User Info (displays camera credentials), Device Info (displays camera IP settings), Filtration (filter results by IP, media port, or channel), Open (browse for firmware file), and username/password fields for login.
Firmware upgrade via Device Search: click the listed camera, then click Upgrade.
Device Configuration (within Device Search) provides access to Record and Record Snapshot settings: enter the camera's IP, media port, username, and password, then click Login.
Enter the camera's IP address into your browser's address bar β default is 192.168.1.168. The web interface is designed for Internet Explorer and may not work correctly on other browsers. On first access you'll be prompted to install a browser plugin.
Username: admin. Password: set at initial login (press and hold the reset button to reset password β available on select camera models).
Stream options: Mainstream (highest resolution), Sub Stream (lower resolution), Mobile Stream (lowest resolution). On-screen icons include: stop, original proportions, stretch to window, fullscreen, local record, local snapshot, digital zoom, color settings, plugin/version info, and log out.
Hue, Bright(ness), Contrast, Saturation, Sharpness, Default (reset), Refresh (reload values).
Filter recorded video by Date and Type, then Search. Playback icons: play, stop, forward one frame, record, snapshot, download, viewing speed, audio, digital zoom, original proportions, stretch to window, fullscreen.
Post-recording duration (0/5/10/20/30 seconds after alarm ends), send email alert, FTP upload alert, send to cloud, enable recording on alarm.
Set record/download/snapshot directories, video file type (RF/AVI/MP4), maximum video length in minutes, snapshot format (BMP/PNG/JPG).
| Screen is blank | Check camera is powered up, power supply polarity is correct, monitor is powered up, and the video cable connection is secure. |
| Screen image is dim | Clean the lens with a soft, clean cloth; check that the light source is adequate. |
| Strong backlight overpowers the image | Change the D-WDR or Backlight settings. |

| Motion detection not activating | Activate MOTION DET in the Setup Menu and properly define the motion detection area. |
| IR LEDs do not turn on | Verify the correct power supply is in use. |
