Web/software setup manual for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER IP fixed cameras EV-N1506-2W4Q (bullet, 2.8mm, 5MP/1440p, 12VDC) and EV-N2506-2W4Q (turret, 2.8mm, 5MP/1440p, 12VDC) — covers device search, connection, live view, playback, and full remote configuration via the camera's web interface.

Programmable Features

• Exposure — Adjust shutter speed, automatic gain control (AGC), and defog settings
• Digital Wide Dynamic Range (D-WDR) — Clear images even with varying backlight illumination
• Back Light Compensation (BLC) — Correct exposure for subjects in front of bright light sources
• White Balance — Adjust color temperature/image color
• Day & Night — Adjust the ambient light level that triggers switching between color and B/W modes
• Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) — Reduce interference in low-illumination areas

Note: all screen images in the manual are simulated.

Accessing the IP Camera Interface

Install the Device Config Tool from the included CD (separate installers for Mac and PC). Follow the installer prompts (Next → choose install location → Install → Finish), checking the box to launch the Device Config Tool when done.

Device Search

Use the Device Search tool to locate the camera's IP address on the network and connect to it. Key controls: Search (finds cameras and reveals IP), User Info (displays camera credentials), Device Info (displays camera IP settings), Filtration (filter results by IP, media port, or channel), Open (browse for firmware file), and username/password fields for login.

Firmware upgrade via Device Search: click the listed camera, then click Upgrade.

Device Configuration (within Device Search) provides access to Record and Record Snapshot settings: enter the camera's IP, media port, username, and password, then click Login.

Connect to Camera

Enter the camera's IP address into your browser's address bar — default is 192.168.1.168. The web interface is designed for Internet Explorer and may not work correctly on other browsers. On first access you'll be prompted to install a browser plugin.

Login Screen

Username: admin. Password: set at initial login (press and hold the reset button to reset password — available on select camera models).

Live View

Stream options: Mainstream (highest resolution), Sub Stream (lower resolution), Mobile Stream (lowest resolution). On-screen icons include: stop, original proportions, stretch to window, fullscreen, local record, local snapshot, digital zoom, color settings, plugin/version info, and log out.

Color Adjustment

Hue, Bright(ness), Contrast, Saturation, Sharpness, Default (reset), Refresh (reload values).

Playback

Filter recorded video by Date and Type, then Search. Playback icons: play, stop, forward one frame, record, snapshot, download, viewing speed, audio, digital zoom, original proportions, stretch to window, fullscreen.

Remote Setting – Channel

• Live — Camera name, flicker control (60Hz US / 50Hz EU), show name, show time
• Image Control — R-CUT mode (GPIO Auto / Color / B/W / Schedule B/W), IR cut delay, IR-LED mode (Auto/On/Off), lens flip (vertical), angle flip (horizontal), 180° rotation, back light compensation, 3D noise reduction, white balance (Auto/Manual), shutter (Auto/Manual, 1/5~1/20000 flickerless), defog mode, restore factory default
• PTZ — Protocol (Pelco P/D), baud rate (1200/2400/4800/9600), data bit (5–8), stop bit (1–2), parity (None/Odd/Even/Mark/Space), address, copy configuration to another channel
• Motion Detection — Enable/disable, sensitivity (1–8), clear area, select entire area
• Video Cover — Enable a privacy zone that blacks out a selected area of video

Remote Setting – Record

• Encode — Per-stream (Main/Sub/Mobile) resolution, FPS (1–20), codec (H.264/H.265), video code level, bitrate control (CBR/VBR), bitrate mode, pre-defined or user-defined bitrate value, I-frame interval (1–80)
• Record — Stream mode selection, record enable/disable, pre-record (caches a few seconds before an event), netbreak handling
• Schedule — Normal (always record) or Motion (record on motion detected)

Remote Setting – Alarm (Motion)

Post-recording duration (0/5/10/20/30 seconds after alarm ends), send email alert, FTP upload alert, send to cloud, enable recording on alarm.

Remote Setting – Network

• General — DHCP, IP address, subnet mask, gateway, primary/secondary DNS, multicast enable/address
• PPPoE — Enable Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet, username/password, uses current IP/subnet/gateway/DNS
• SNMP — Enable, version (v1/v2/v3), port, read/write community strings, trap IP/port
• Port Configuration — HTTP, client, RTSP, HTTPS, and multicast port numbers; UPnP enable/disable; port mapping strategy (Auto/Manual); P2P switch
• DDNS — Enable Dynamic DNS, select service (DynDNS, No-IP), hostname, username/password, test DDNS
• Email Configuration — Enable, encryption (SSL/TLS/Auto/Disable), SMTP port/server, credentials, sender, up to 3 receivers, send interval (1/3/5/10 min), test email
• FTP — Enable, server address, port, credentials, transfer images
• HTTP/HTTPS — Enable HTTPS, certificate type (Default/Custom)
• IP Filter — Enable IP filtering with allow/block lists, add single address or network segment
• RTSP — Enable RTSP, allow anonymous login

Remote Setting – Device

• Disk (SD Card) — Overwrite policy when full (Close/Auto); format SD card (erases all data)
• Cloud — Enable cloud storage (Dropbox supported), driver name, activate/test cloud settings

Remote Setting – System

• General — Set system date/time, date format, time format (12/24hr), DST (weekly/date mode, 1hr/2hr offset), NTP enable
• Multi-User — Configure account number, username, password, active status
• Maintenance – Log — Select log type, path, filename; search/export log files by date range
• Maintenance – Load Default — Select categories to restore to factory default
• Maintenance – Upgrade — Browse for and apply a firmware upgrade file (do not power off or close the browser during upgrade — may damage the camera)
• Maintenance – Parameter Management — Import/export a full configuration file
• Maintenance – Auto Reboot — Enable scheduled reboot (daily/weekly/monthly with day/time), or reboot manually
• Maintenance – Information — View current software/hardware info; scan the QR code to copy the P2P ID to clipboard

Local Settings

Set record/download/snapshot directories, video file type (RF/AVI/MP4), maximum video length in minutes, snapshot format (BMP/PNG/JPG).

Compliance & Warranty

California Proposition 65: these products may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm (www.P65Warnings.ca.gov). Stop using the camera if you notice smoke or unusual heat. Do not open the case — no user-serviceable components inside. FCC Part 15 compliant device; unauthorized changes/modifications could void the user's authority to operate it. No changes to the antenna are permitted for RF exposure compliance.

Warranted against defects in material and workmanship for three (3) years from date of sale to the original customer. SECO-LARM's obligation is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts, transportation prepaid. Void for damage from acts of God, misuse, neglect, alteration, or improper installation.
