    Manual for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER MVE-AH020Q HDMI Extender Over Single Cat5e/6 — a plug-and-play transmitter/receiver set that extends HDMI signal up to 164 ft (50m) over a single Cat6 cable with zero signal loss.

    Overview

    The MVE-AH020Q extends the range of traditional HDMI cabling by using an active transmitter and receiver to send video and audio over a single Cat5e/6 cable. HDMI formats up to 1080p can be transmitted up to 164 ft (50m) with zero signal loss using integrated circuits in the receiver and transmitter.

    Installation

    1. Determine the location for the transmitter/receiver and how much Cat5e/6 cable is needed.
    2. Connect the transmitter to the HDMI output of the source device.
    3. Connect the Cat5e/6 cable to both units (use T568B wiring standard; Cat6 recommended for maximum range).
    4. Connect the receiver to the HDMI input of the display or other device.
    5. Connect a 5VDC adapter to each unit.
    6. Optionally mount both units to a wall or surface using the included brackets/screws.
    7. Switch on the HDMI source and display; verify the system functions properly.

    Note: transmitter (MVE-AH020-TQ) and receiver (MVE-AH020-RQ) are only sold as a pair. Requires one Cat5e/6 cable and two HDMI cables (not included).

    Troubleshooting
