Installation manual for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER E-964-S50TB multi-frequency single photobeam perimeter sensor.

    Full text manual (for reference)

Installation manual for the SECO-LARM ENFORCER E-964-S50TB Multi-Frequency Single Photobeam — a weatherproof transmitter/receiver perimeter security beam sensor.

    Features

    • 4 selectable frequencies to reduce interference between adjacent installations
    • Built-in AGC control filters out lighting disturbances
    • Small, less-conspicuous size; simple to install
    • Signal strength indicator LED for easier alignment
    • Weatherproof (IP65) for indoor/outdoor use
    • LED indicators for power, signal strength, and trigger/alarm status

LED indicators: Transmitter — Green (power connected). Receiver — Green Power, Yellow Signal (weak signal / beam broken), Red Alarm (transmitter/receiver misaligned or beam broken).

    Installation

Note: Do not mount where exposed to direct sunlight (sensor damage risk). Allow a minimum of 40" (1m) between transmitter and receiver.

    1. Find a location where the transmitter and receiver face each other, ideally at least 8" (20cm) above the floor.
    2. Test before mounting: set the same frequency (via DIP switches) on both units, connect power, hold in place by hand, and break the beam to confirm operation. Circuit boards are hinged for finer horizontal adjustment.
    3. Disconnect power, trace the mounting outlines with a pencil, then remove the covers and mark the 3 mounting-screw holes for each base.
    4. Wood/metal wall: drill starter holes and screw directly. Drywall: drill for the included plastic wall anchors, then screw through the base into the anchors.
    5. Confirm the NO/NC jumper matches your desired activation logic (default N.C.).
    6. Wire the receiver terminals to the device to be activated, reconnect power.
    7. Replace covers and re-test.

    Sample Applications

Perimeter security installs typically stagger transmitter/receiver pairs across adjacent frequency channels (Ch1–Ch4) to avoid cross-triggering between adjacent beam pairs — including "double-stacked" configurations using all 4 channels across 4 transmitter/receiver pairs. See the full PDF for the diagrammed layout.

    Wiring Diagram

Transmitter: connect 10~24VDC power supply to V−/V+ terminals. Receiver: connect 10~24VDC power to V−/V+ terminals, and wire the alarm/other equipment to the COM/NC-NO terminals.

    Troubleshooting

    Symptom Fix
Sensor doesn't detect the object Object may be reflective — try changing sensor angle
Green power LED off Check power connection
Yellow or Red LED won't turn off Clean sensors with a damp (not wet) cloth; readjust alignment; confirm both units are on the same frequency
Red LED lights on detection, but output device doesn't activate Check wiring continuity between receiver and output device
