    August 31, 2026 3 min read

SL Access™ App User Manual for SECO-LARM ENFORCER Bluetooth Access Controllers — covers app setup, login, hands-free Auto unlock, and troubleshooting.

    Full text manual (for reference)

User guide for the SL Access™ app, used with SECO-LARM ENFORCER® Bluetooth® Access Controllers to provide streamlined, hands-free access control for building managers and users.

    What You Need

    • An ENFORCER Bluetooth Access Controller (e.g. SK-B241-PQ)
    • A smartphone with Bluetooth LE 4.0
    • The SL Access app (iOS 11.0+ or Android 5.0+)
    • Optional: a proximity card or key fob, if your device includes a proximity reader

Privacy: No data or personal information is shared with SECO-LARM or any other party, and none is uploaded to the cloud.

    Home Screen Elements

    • Login icon, Device Name, Settings icon
    • Current Device Distance (relative signal-strength number)
    • Locked icon (tap to unlock)
    • Auto selector and Auto Proximity Range setting
    • App version

Bluetooth must be enabled and the device must be in range. Practical Bluetooth range is around 60 ft (20m), less with obstacles/interference.

    Choosing a Device

The device with the strongest signal appears in black text at the top of the screen. If your desired device isn't shown, tap that area and select it from the popup. Once selected, its name turns gold to confirm the selection.

    Logging In

    1. Tap the Login icon (top left).
    2. Enter the User ID and Passcode assigned by your administrator, then tap Confirm.
    3. A short beep and a "You are now logged in" popup confirm success.

Note: The Login icon remains visible even after logging in — there's no persistent visual indicator that you're logged in. You can also use your passcode directly on the keypad (type the passcode then press #) if the device has one.

    Basic Operation

Ensure the correct device appears at the top of the home screen, then press the center "Locked" button. The icon changes to "Unlocked" and the door unlocks for a duration set by the administrator. The icon display lasts ~5 seconds, which may not match the actual unlock duration.

    Auto (Hands-Free) Operation

Select "Auto" at the bottom of the home screen to automatically unlock the door when your phone is within the configured proximity range.

    • The app must be loaded and the phone screen on for automatic unlocking to work.
    • If you have more than one keypad/reader, ensure the correct one is connected.
    • Adjust the proximity range carefully to avoid accidental unlocking.

    Settings

Tap the Settings icon on the home page (Auto must be turned off to access Settings). From here you can:

    • Set the Auto Proximity Range
    • Access Help (links to SECO-LARM's support page for manuals)
    • View Legal Notices and Privacy Policy
    • View About / app version / contact info

    Setting Auto Proximity Range

    1. On the Settings page, tap "Auto Proximity Range."
    2. Hold your phone at the approximate distance where you'd like automatic unlock to trigger, and note the "Current Device Distance" number.
    3. Move the slider to that noted number.

Note: This setting only affects the app's Auto Unlock feature — it has no effect on the range of proximity cards/fobs.

    Troubleshooting

    Symptom Fix
Device area says "Searching…" Ensure phone's Bluetooth is on; move closer to the device; close and restart the app.
Can't log in Double-check username spelling/case/spacing and passcode; contact your device administrator.
"Auto" unlock not working Confirm you're within the set proximity range; app must be loaded and phone screen on while approaching.
