    Installation

    1. Find a suitable location for the cabinet lock — ensure the lock body and rosette do not obstruct the drawer/door from opening and closing completely.
    2. Set the relock time delay by gently turning the trimpot on the back of the lock body (left to right adjusts between 2S and 5S). Note: connected access control devices must set their own time delay at least 3 seconds longer than the lock's relock time delay.
    3. Wire the cabinet lock according to the wiring diagram (see below).
    4. Mount the lock body using the 4 included long wood screws.
    5. Apply double-sided tape (not included) to the back of the rosette and gently insert the pin into the receptacle on the lock body, without locking the pin in place. Check the rosette orientation (see Door Status Sensor Position, below).
    6. Close the drawer/door and open it again — the rosette will now be attached in the correct location. Note: if the pin becomes locked, trigger the relay control contact to unlock it.
    7. Secure the rosette to the drawer/door using the 2 included short wood screws.
    8. Test that the rosette is aligned properly; make adjustments as needed.

    Wiring

    The lock body connects to 12~28 VAC/VDC power and a relay control contact (e.g. a reader or switch). Two output wires provide status signals:

    Wire Color Function
    Yellow (N.C.) Bond/lock status contact output — indicates the locking element is in the "locked" position
    Blue (N.O.) Door status contact output — indicates the door is closed

    Door Status Sensor Position

    The sensor magnet on the rosette should match up with the sensor on the lock body. For installations where the rosette faces the top of the lock body, the magnet and reed switch should be adjacent.

    Troubleshooting

    Symptom Check
    Doesn't unlock Check connection to power; check connection to reader/switch
    Doesn't lock Check connection to power; make sure the rosette's pin goes into the receptacle unobstructed and fully engages the locking element
    Door status contact output not working Check the rosette's orientation

    Warranty

    Two (2) years from date of sale against defects in material and workmanship, limited to repair or replacement at SECO-LARM's option. Excludes damage from acts of God, misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorized repair/alteration, or improper installation.
