    Product specification sheet for the SCP HNC-3 Home Networking Cable — a composite cable bundling two RG6/U quad-shield coax, two CAT5E UTP solid, and one 2-fiber multimode line.

    Overview

    The HNC-3 is a composite multi-media cable for smart home wiring, combining four cable types in a single purple-jacketed run:

    • Two CAT5E UTP Solid 350MHz LAN cables, 24 AWG, 4 pairs (complies with TIA/EIA-568-B.2, 24AWG solid bare copper conductor with PE insulation)
    • Two RG6/U (Quad Shield) coaxial cables, 18 AWG bare copper conductors, AL foil/60% AL braid shield + AL foil/40% AL braid shield (complies with SCTE ISP-IP-001)
    • One 2-fiber multimode 62.5/125u OM1 fiber optic line (complies with IEC60793-2-10A1b)

    Application: multi-media cabling for smart home installations. Reference standards: SCTE IPS-SP-001, TIA/EIA-568-B.2, IEC60793-2-10A1b.
