    Product specifications for the Russound TVA2.1 Digital Amplifier — a low-profile, 2-channel digital amplifier designed to integrate with flat-panel televisions, delivering enhanced TV audio while controllable directly from the TV or cable box remote via on-board IR learning.

    Overview

    Better Sound for TV. The TVA2.1 delivers smooth, robust sound for an enhanced viewing experience. Its built-in IR learning allows volume to be seamlessly controlled by the TV or cable box's remote control — eliminating the need for an external control system, which dramatically reduces the cost of adding audio to a room while keeping operation simple and intuitive (homeowners just use their existing remote).

    Its thin footprint lets the TVA2.1 be hidden behind the television or mounted in an in-wall panel/structured wiring can. It offers three input options: analog RCA line-level, Digital Coax S/PDIF, and Optical S/PDIF, supporting up to 24-bit/96kHz digital audio in PCM stereo format.

    Typical Application

    The typical setup connects your existing system remote and cable box through an RSF-610 IR receiver, feeding the TVA2.1 which drives both the TV speakers and an integrated subwoofer output.
