Overview

The Anywhere Virtual Scheduler-Timer allows you to automatically turn on/off lights, appliances, pumps, motors, fans, or heaters anywhere in your home. Combine it with the Anywhere 3-Way Virtual Switch Kit (V3WAY-A), Anywhere Switch (US1-V0), Anywhere Wire-In Relay Module (UFR-V0), Anywhere Plug-In Relay Module (UMA-V0), or Anywhere Receptacle Outlet (URD-V0) to control 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or more lights/appliances throughout the home.

Description

Model UCS-V0 includes one professional-grade Scheduler-Timer, a 6-foot power cord, and a right-angle plug for easy 120VAC/60Hz receptacle mounting. It replaces existing mechanical timers to provide virtual remote lighting and appliance control.

The built-in real-time astronomical clock knows sunrise and sunset for your location and maintains accurate time up to one week without power — no need to reset the clock after outages or seasonal daylight-savings changes; it automatically continues to work as scheduled. Easy-to-use buttons let you set time and events, controlling Anywhere Switches and Accessories using 32 events across up to 10 communication channels.

Circuit Requirements

• Hot and neutral (black and white wire) power connections are required at Anywhere Switch (US1-V0) locations.
• The Anywhere Switch (US1-V0) controls incandescent, fluorescent, halogen, LED, magnetic, and electronic low-voltage lighting transformers/ballasts (1W min, 900W max). Ballasts for 120VAC metal-halide or mercury/sodium fixtures may need isolation (see model ZNF10A). Controls 120VAC/60Hz motors up to 7.5A max.
• Up to 10 separate virtual control zones can be used in a home via the 10 channels enabled by the UCS-V0.
• Switches and devices should be installed on the same circuit/breaker. If on different circuits, they should be on the same phase (both on Phase A or both on Phase B).
• For homes larger than 2,500 sq ft, a phase coupler is recommended for optimum performance (see model ZPCI).
• Not intended for 3-phase (commercial/condo) applications unless switches share the same breaker or phase.

Note: The Anywhere Series is not compatible with any of Simply Automated's PC-Configured, Pre-Configured, SimplySmart™, or other UPB/UPStart-configured products.
