Front/Rear Panel Controls
- Dual Bus Inputs — allows up to 2 different audio sources to be shared among any of the amplifier's zones.
- Dedicated Zone Input — provides a dedicated audio source to each zone.
- Level Gain Adjustment — allows a gain adjustment for every zone.
- Zone Input Selector — configures each zone to use Bus Input A, Bus Input B, or the dedicated Line In.
- Audio Filter Setting Switch — Low Pass (LP), High Pass (HP), or Full-Range (Full) per zone.
- Stereo/Bridged Mode Switch — set to Bridged when bridging a zone's channels into a single mono zone (speaker wiring must be reconfigured per the owner's manual).
- Speaker Connection — removable screw-down speaker selectors accept up to 12 AWG wire.
- Turn-on Mode Switch — Always On, Auto-Sensing, or 12V (for use with the 12V trigger input).
- 12V Trigger In/Out — enables automated turn-on/off via a 12V DC trigger; set the Turn-On Mode Switch to 12V when using this.
Application Example: Adding Extra Speakers
For a home theater setup, feed the 11-channel outputs of a home theater pre-amplifier into the D1290: set in-ceiling speaker zones to Full Range and subwoofer zones to Low Pass.
