Z-Wave setup, inclusion/exclusion, and reset guide for the Ring Base Station Z-Wave hub.
Z-Wave setup, inclusion/exclusion, and reset guide for the Ring Base Station — the Z-Wave hub used with Ring Alarm systems to add and manage compatible smart home devices.
The Ring Base Station itself can be added to another Z-Wave network via classic inclusion mode:
Note: Joining another Z-Wave network via Learn Mode is only available when the base station is not already paired to any other devices.
The Ring Base Station's Group 1 is the "Lifeline" group, which can hold one device. The base station sends a device-reset-locally notification to this group.
Use this procedure only if the network's primary controller is missing or otherwise inoperable.
