    Quick installation guide for the Qubino Mini Dimmer (model QUZMNHHD3 and related ZMNHH-series variants) — a MOSFET-switching light dimming module compatible with 2- or 3-wire connections (no neutral wire required). Supports low-voltage halogen lamps with electronic transformers, dimmable CFLs, and dimmable LED bulbs. Measures power consumption and can act as a normal switch with non-dimmable lights.

    Safety Warnings

    • Danger of electrocution! Installation requires a great degree of skill and may be performed only by a licensed, qualified electrician. Even when the device is off, voltage may still be present in its terminals.
    • Disconnect electrical power at the main fuse or circuit breaker before installation/maintenance. Confirm no voltage remains in the wiring before proceeding.
    • Take extra precautions against accidentally turning the device on during installation.
    • Do not connect to loads exceeding recommended values — connect exactly per the wiring diagram.
    • Place the antenna as far as possible from metal elements; do not shorten the antenna.

    Z-Wave Inclusion (Adding to Network)

    Auto-Inclusion

    1. Enable inclusion mode on your Z-Wave gateway (hub)
    2. Connect the device to the power supply
    3. Auto-inclusion initiates within 5 seconds and the device registers automatically to your network

    Manual Inclusion

    1. Enable add/remove mode on your Z-Wave gateway (hub)
    2. Connect the device to the power supply
    3. Toggle the I1-terminal switch 3 times within 3 seconds (3 pushes on a push-button, or 3 On/Off presses on a normal switch), or hold the S (Service) button 2–6 seconds if on 24V SELV power
    4. A new dimming device (multilevel switch) appears on your dashboard
    5. Inclusion via the I1 switch is not time-limited

    Note: For S2 Security inclusion, a dialog will prompt for a 5-digit PIN printed on the module label and the packaging label. Keep this PIN — it cannot be retrieved once lost.

    Z-Wave Exclusion / Reset

    Exclusion

    1. Connect the device to the power supply, ensure it's within range of your Z-Wave gateway or handheld remote
    2. Enable exclusion mode on your gateway
    3. Toggle the I1 switch 3 times within 3 seconds, or hold the S (Service) button 2–6 seconds on 24V SELV power
    4. Exclusion via the I1 switch is not time-limited; custom configuration parameters are NOT erased

    Factory Reset

    1. Connect the device to the power supply
    2. Within the first minute, toggle the I1 switch 5 times within 3 seconds, or hold the S (Service) button at least 6 seconds on 24V SELV power

    Resetting returns all custom parameters to default and deletes the node ID. Use only when the main gateway/hub is missing or inoperable.

    Important Notes

    • The S (Service) button must NOT be used when the device is connected to 110–240V power supply.
    • The 24–30VDC connection can only be used to add, remove, or reset the device with the S button in a 3-wire installation.
    • In a 2-wire installation, if the connected load starts flickering, use a Bypass accessory.
    • When overload is detected, the device automatically switches off. Check the load matches specifications and connections match the diagram. Power-cycle the device to restore normal dimmer operation.
