    Platinum Tools RJ45 Boots protect and organize connectors and panels. These snagless boots fit Cat5e and Cat6 RJ45 plugs, protecting the connector, preventing tangled cable messes, eliminating broken release/locking tabs, relieving stress on the cable, helping maintain proper bend radius, and color-coding your cable runs. They also cover the external ground on shielded connectors.

    Application

    Choose the boot size based on your cable's outer diameter (OD):

    • 5.5mm / 0.217" OD — typically for Cat5e
    • 6.0mm / 0.236" OD — typically for small Cat6
    • 6.5mm / 0.260" OD — typically for medium Cat6
    • 7.0mm / 0.275" OD — typically for large Cat6

    Technical Data

    Compatibility

    These RJ45 boots work on all Platinum Tools' standard RJ45 and EZ-RJ45® connectors, including:
