    Installation instructions for the Legrand On-Q Shelf Mounting Bracket, used to mount a shelf or equipment inside On-Q metal, dual-purpose, or plastic structured wiring enclosures.

    Compatibility

    • Compatible: ON-Q Metal Enclosures (12", 14", 20", 28", 42"); ON-Q Dual Purpose Enclosures (9", 17"); ON-Q Plastic Enclosures (20", 30", 42")
    • Not compatible with the EN0800 8" enclosure

    What's Included

    • Shelf Mounting Bracket (qty: 1)
    • Plunger / Grommets (qty: 2)
    • 2' Velcro Strap (qty: 1)

    Recommended tool: scissors (for trimming the Velcro strap to length).

    Two Mounting Options

    Choose the mounting method based on your enclosure type:

    • Standard Bracket Mounting Inside Enclosure — for standard installs (see below)
    • Inverted Bracket Mounting Inside Enclosure — for plastic and dual-purpose enclosures only

    Standard Bracket Mounting

    Standard bracket mounting steps 1 and 2 - sliding bracket into enclosure rail and securing with cage nut and bolt
    Steps 1–2: Slide the shelf bracket into the enclosure's mounting rail, aligning it with the rail's mounting holes, then secure it in place with the provided cage nut and bolt hardware.
    1. Cut the included Velcro strap to the desired length, then use it to secure the shelf/equipment and cable bundle to the bracket as shown below.
    Step 3 - securing equipment to the bracket with the Velcro strap and trimming to length
    Step 3: Wrap the Velcro strap around the mounted equipment and cabling for cable management, then trim to the desired length with scissors.

    Inverted Bracket Mounting (Plastic & Dual-Purpose Enclosures Only)

    Follow the same three-step process shown above, but with the bracket inverted per the enclosure orientation diagram in the printed manual. This mounting style is used only for plastic and dual-purpose enclosures, not metal enclosures.
