User's Guide for the On-Q/Legrand inQuire 1000 Intercom System, covering Main Console, Room, Desktop, Patio, and Door Unit operation plus troubleshooting and warranty.
User's Guide for the On-Q/Legrand inQuire™ 1000 Intercom System — covering Main Console, Room, Desktop, Patio, and Door Units, plus troubleshooting and warranty.
A visitor presses the Door Chime button, which sounds throughout the home at every active intercom unit (requires the Door Chime accessory). An occupant can press DOOR on any unit to talk to the visitor through the Door Unit's speaker/microphone, and optionally release the electronic door latch (device not included) to let them in.
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| No power to any intercom unit | Check the Intercom Module's power LED is lit; verify the power supply is plugged in and is the correct 12V model with sufficient current for your system (check the model number with your On-Q installer/support if unsure). |
| No power to one specific unit | Likely a Cat 5e cable connection or cable fault — contact your On-Q installer or Technical Support. |
| Feedback or squeal from a unit's speaker | Lower the volume from high to medium on the affected unit. |
| No audio from a Room/Desktop/Patio Unit | Verify the unit isn't in MUTE mode; increase volume until at least 3 LEDs are lit. |
| No audio from the Main Console | Increase volume until at least 3 LEDs are lit. |
| A button isn't working properly | Contact your On-Q installer or On-Q Technical Support. |
