    Installation instructions for the On-Q/Legrand Duplex Outlet Power Kit (Doc. #1507051) — a self-contained AC power outlet assembly designed to be installed inside cabinets, media consoles, or shelving units for powering AV components.

    Overview

    The Duplex Outlet Power Kit brings a standard 115VAC duplex receptacle into an enclosed cabinet or shelving space, letting you power AV components (media players, set-top boxes, network switches, etc.) without running an exposed extension cord. The kit includes a junction box, wired duplex receptacle, and a snap-on decorative cover plate.

    Installation sequence: mount the junction box, feed in the 115VAC power cord, attach the outlet body, then snap on the cover plate.

    Installation Steps

    1. Mount the junction box at the rear/base of the cabinet interior where power access is needed.
    2. Feed the 115VAC power cord into the junction box.
    3. Attach the duplex outlet/receptacle body to the junction box.
    4. Snap the decorative cover plate onto the mounted outlet to complete the finished, flush-mounted installation.
