Installation instructions for the On-Q/Legrand Custom Door (part numbers 364593-xy for the 28-inch enclosure and 364594-xy for the 42-inch enclosure) — a decorative front door option for OnQ structured wiring enclosures.

    Overview

The OnQ Custom Door enhances the appearance of an OnQ Service Center enclosure. It's available in two sizes matching the 28" and 42" OnQ enclosures, and can be mounted to an OnQ Custom Enclosure, OnQ Premium Enclosure, or the OnQ Enclosure Extender. The door can be mounted on either the left or right-hand opening on Custom Enclosures and Extenders; on Premium Enclosures it mounts only on the left side.

    Part Number Structure

    • Base numbers: 364593-xy (28") / 364594-xy (42")
    • Frame finish suffix: "-1y" = brushed aluminum, "-2y" = white
    • Insert color suffix: "-x1" = clear, "-x2" = rose, "-x3" = white, "-x4" = smoke

    Description

The Custom Door is an aluminum frame with a swappable insert. All doors include an installed lock and ship pre-assembled with a mounting kit. A protective film covers both sides of the insert during shipping and construction.

    Installation Steps

    1. Select the right-hand or left-hand opening orientation for your enclosure.
    2. Partially install a screw and lock washer into the top mounting hole on the enclosure or extender. (Hinge brackets on the door have keyholes designed for hanging on either side of the enclosure.)
    3. Align and hang the door by slipping the top hinge keyhole over the installed screw.
    4. Align the door fully and install the remaining screws; tighten all screws.
    5. Remove the insert's protective film by peeling back the paper on both sides. Note: it's advisable to leave the protective film in place until construction/renovation work is complete, to avoid scratches.

    Care & Maintenance

Acrylic inserts are a soft plastic. Clean only with a mild plastic cleaner and a soft cloth — many common glass cleaners contain abrasives that will scratch and dull the finish.
