On-Q Caddx Mounting Plate (IS-0076) — Installation Instructions

Installation instructions for the On-Q CADDX Mounting Plate (IS-0076), used to install a Caddx NX-8 security system into an On-Q structured wiring enclosure.

Overview

The On-Q Caddx Mounting Plate is designed for use with the Caddx Networkx NX-8 Security System. It fits into On-Q 14", 28", and 42" Tri-rail or Flat-rail Service Center Enclosures, allowing the NX-8 Security System to be integrated into an On-Q structured wiring system alongside expander modules.

Installation Steps

A. Mounting the Caddx NX-8 and Expander Modules

1. Slide the NX-8 Main Control Module into the mounting plate slots.
2. Secure the Vertical Expander Module Rails to the mounting plate, then slide the expander modules into the vertical rails.
3. Refer to the Caddx installation/instruction sheets for correct wiring instructions.

B. Mounting the Assembly in the Enclosure

1. Align the tabs on the assembly with the slots on the rail of the enclosure.
2. Insert the tabs by angling the assembly away from the back of the enclosure, then sliding it forward.
3. Rotate the assembly and insert the fasteners on the assembly into the corresponding holes on the enclosure rail. The plunger must be in the pulled-out position for the fastener to engage the hole.
4. Push the plunger in to lock the module in place. Pull on the assembly to confirm it is locked properly in place.
