Description

The SE-80SWf is a dynamic 8" round in-ceiling or in-wall subwoofer featuring a frameless design for sleek integration. It uses a specialized shallow polypropylene cone for clean, powerful low-bass reproduction, plus an integrated one-piece surround/damping ring to minimize unwanted resonances in the woofer's mechanical substructure.

The SE-80SWf ships with both round and square grilles for flexible installation and cosmetic matching. The low-profile grille stays rattle-free thanks to 24 specially-shaped neodymium magnets around the frame's perimeter — and the grilles may be painted to match any decor.

For best room integration, OEM Systems recommends connecting multiple SE-80SWf subwoofers (two, three, or four) to one of their 500 Watt Class A/B Model 500 amplifiers. Using multiple woofers around the room isn't just for more bass energy — it also helps minimize standing waves that a single subwoofer can't eliminate alone, giving more uniform bass reproduction throughout the space.
