About Nuvo

Nuvo traces its roots to 1924 as the Davitt & Hanser Music Company (later Hanser Holdings International). HHI acquired amplification company Kustom in 1989, and Kustom Home Sound introduced the first integrated whole-home audio system in 1991. HHI launched the Nuvo brand in 2002, and Legrand North America acquired Nuvo in 2012.

The Player Portfolio delivers high-fidelity audio to every room via wired or wireless single-zone Players and multi-zone rack-mount Players, supporting up to 16 zones in a unified whole-home system. It offers built-in access to networked audio, iTunes libraries, Internet radio, and streaming services, controlled via the free Nuvo Player app (available for iTunes and Google Play) with AirPlay 2 support.

System Architecture

Connect a Nuvo Player to the home network and your favorite speakers; the app handles setup and expansion of additional zones. The ecosystem spans: Professional Multi-Zone Rack-Mount Players, Wired/Wireless Single-Zone Players, and Tabletop Speakers — all controlled through the home network.

Control: Nuvo Player App & In-Wall Keypads

• Nuvo Player App — manage music library, power, and playlists; Play/Pause/Volume/Mute/Skip Track; browse by song, album, genre, artist; control zones independently or grouped to play one song throughout the home.
• P10 Keypad — in-wall control of a single zone: Play/Pause/Volume/Mute/Track Navigation, one button for 5 preset favorites, single RJ45 802.3af PoE connection. Available in white, light almond, and nickel.
• P20 Keypad — capacitive touch backlit display for single-zone control, same core controls as P10 plus quick-access preset button. Designed for Livinglight/Arteor/Valena Life wall plates (Europe) and adorne wall plates (North America). Single RJ45 PoE connection.

P5000 Professional Series Players (Multi-Zone Rack-Mount)

Purpose-built for custom integrator installations, compatible with Apple AirPlay 2, with side-mounted fanless heat sinks.

Wired/Wireless Single-Zone Players

P300 is designed to connect to any external amplifier or receiver, offering the full Player Portfolio feature set (source variety, app control, hi-fi quality) as an unpowered preamp.

P600/P601 DIN Rail Solutions

The P600 is the world's first streaming music player designed for the international DIN rail mounting standard, compatible with all other Player Portfolio products.

• P600 — 20w/ch @ 4/6/8Ω (40w total), Ethernet, 1 zone/2 channels, 3.5mm + USB inputs. Fits existing DIN rail enclosures outside the US, or installs in a low-voltage enclosure with the NV-PDINKIT inside the US.
• PDINKIT — Nuvo DIN Rail Kit; provides installation parts for a 3-zone DIN Rail Player system, compatible with the On-Q Plastic Enclosure family.
• NV-P6002Z-NA / NV-P6003Z-NA / NV-P6004Z-NA — Multi-zone kits with all parts to install and power 2, 3, or 4 zones respectively.
• P601 — DIN rail power supply, powers up to 4 P600 players; 24V / 18w per zone.

P400 Tabletop Speaker

All-in-one single-zone amplifier and stereo speaker that easily expands the Player Portfolio system. Powerful 2.1 system with 5¼" subwoofer, two midrange drivers, and two tweeters. Capacitive touch controls for Play/Pause/Volume/Mute/Track Navigation; wired or wireless connection.

Digital Power Amplifiers

Class-D rack-mount amplifiers meeting ENERGY STAR standard (under 1 watt standby power), clean 1U installation.

Series Two models: NV-2IC6 (6.5" in-ceiling), NV-2IC6-ANG (angled), NV-2IC6-DVC (dual voice coil), NV-2IC8 (8" in-ceiling), NV-2IC8-ANG, NV-2IW6 (6.5" in-wall), NV-2IW5-LCR (5.25" LCR), NV-2OD5/NV-2OD6 (5.25"/6.5" outdoor, black or white).

Series Four models: NV-4IC6, NV-4IC6-ANG, NV-4IC6-DVC, NV-4IC8, NV-4IC8-ANG, NV-4IW6, NV-4IW5-LCR.
