Nuvo Architectural Speaker Products — Limited Warranty

This document covers the Limited Warranty for Nuvo passive architectural speaker products, manufactured by Legrand. It outlines both Domestic (U.S.) and International warranty terms.

Domestic (U.S.) Warranty

Legrand warrants Nuvo passive speaker products against defects in workmanship or materials under normal use with a lifetime limited warranty — meaning as long as the original purchaser owns the product. This warranty:

• Applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable
• Is valid only in the United States
• Does not cover defects caused by wear and tear, misuse, accidents, voltage excess, acts of nature (fire, flood, lightning, natural disasters), or neglect
• Does not cover problems caused by third-party accessories or components

Warranty Voided If:

• The unit has been altered or modified
• The serial number has been removed or defaced
• The product was not purchased from an Authorized Nuvo Dealer

Getting Service (Domestic)

Any product returned for warranty service must include a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number — call 800-223-4162 or email technicalsupport@nuvotechnologies.net. Have ready: product model number, proof of purchase, and serial number/production date code.

Ship the defective product with the RMA number to: Legrand, 301 Fulling Mill Road, Suite G, Middletown, PA 17057. The purchaser pays all handling/transportation charges and bears risk of loss/damage in transit. Freight collect shipments will be refused.

If Legrand determines the unit was defective in materials or workmanship, Legrand will repair or replace the product at no charge (at Legrand's sole option). If the model is no longer available or cannot be repaired, Legrand may replace it with a current model of equal or greater value.

International Warranty

The same lifetime limited warranty structure applies to products purchased outside the U.S., with a few differences:

• The warranty may be provided by an Authorized Nuvo Dealer or Authorized Inter-Company Service Partner from whom the product was originally purchased
• Does not cover consequential damages (including loss of data or income), nor compensation for user-performed activities such as regular maintenance or firmware upgrades
• Void if the product was not purchased from an Authorized Nuvo Dealer or Inter-Company Partner

Where repair is not possible or not commercially viable, Legrand may replace the product with one of similar functionality; the warranty period continues from the original purchase date. User-installed firmware upgrades are not considered repairs.

Exclusions (Both Warranties)

• Damage from abuse, neglect, misuse, accident, disaster, or overload caused by voltage inputs exceeding the rated maximum
• Improper packing or shipping procedures
• Unauthorized repair or modification
• Normal discoloration caused by environmental conditions

Legrand reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to discontinue support for third-party technologies (file formats, content providers) at any time with no attendant liability.

This warranty is the only warranty provided and is in lieu of all other express and implied warranties. The purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy for a covered defect is repair or replacement. Legrand is not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages (some states/jurisdictions do not allow this exclusion, so it may not apply to you).

This warranty went into effect May 1, 2019.
