    Specifications for the Napco Prima Wireless Combo Smoke/CO Detector (PSMKCO) — a 2-in-1 smoke and carbon monoxide detector for Napco Prima security/smart home systems.

    Overview

    The Prima PSMKCO is a dual-function wireless smoke and carbon monoxide detector that monitors both hazards continuously and alerts occupants with an 85dB alarm. It features a self-diagnostic test for CO alarms and low battery/malfunction warnings, keeping maintenance minimal. The unit runs on a 3V lithium battery and communicates wirelessly with a Napco Prima Security Panel over a range of up to 492 feet, though the sensor's location and building materials can affect actual range — open, unobstructed installations may see greater range, while adverse wireless conditions may reduce it.
