Instructions for the MAXSA TURBO CHARGE — a portable, reusable, battery-powered emergency cell phone charger using Dual AlgorChip™ technology.

Overview

TURBO CHARGE is a compact emergency charging device that runs on a single "AA" battery. Its Dual AlgorChip™ technology safely regulates the flow of energy to your phone's battery, providing a quick emergency charge when you need it most.

How to Use

1. Unscrew the bottom of the unit and load one "AA" battery.
2. Connect the adapter that matches your cell phone to the top of the TURBO CHARGE.
3. Connect the adapter to your phone's charging port, the same place you'd connect other charging cables.
4. A blue light illuminates to indicate the phone is charging — you can continue to use your phone while it charges.
5. When the blue light goes out, unplug the TURBO CHARGE and replace the "AA" battery before charging again.

Tips for Optimal Charging

• If the phone battery is completely dead, it may take several minutes to charge enough for the phone to power on. The best results come from connecting TURBO CHARGE at the first sign of a low battery, rather than waiting until the phone dies.
• For emergency use, TURBO CHARGE can provide a quick charge in just a few minutes, but a more complete charge is achieved by letting it charge uninterrupted (no talking) for 30–40 minutes.
• Disconnect the TURBO CHARGE immediately once the blue light goes out.
• Replace the "AA" battery if the blue light fails to illuminate.
• If the included adapter doesn't fit your phone, visit the manufacturer's site for replacement adapter options.
• Certain Blackberry models may require a lithium battery instead of an alkaline AA.
• The TURBO CHARGE may feel warm to the touch during use — this is normal and doesn't affect performance.
• If your phone isn't charging, try resetting it by removing and reinserting its battery.

Compatible adapter tips were available for a range of phones common at the time of manufacture, including Kyocera, Motorola (including Razr), LG, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Sanyo, Nextel, Apple iPod/iPhone, and Blackberry models.

90-Day Limited Warranty

If TURBO CHARGE damages a cell phone battery within 90 days of purchase, the manufacturer will replace the damaged battery free of charge. To make a claim, send: (1) the cell phone, (2) the TURBO CHARGE unit involved, (3) the UPC bar code from the package, (4) the sales receipt, and (5) a U.S. mailing address to the manufacturer's inspection department. This warranty is void if the unit has been tampered with or altered, or if the phone battery damage is attributable to any other cause.
