    Overview

    The Linear e3 family of multi-output access control power supplies is designed to lower installation cost by eliminating conduit, interconnecting wiring, and labor needed to power locks and auxiliary devices. The e3 design uses a "Step Up" regulator that boosts 12 VDC to 24 VDC, with each auxiliary output individually selectable for 12 or 24 volts — eliminating the need for two separate power supplies for different voltages.

    Features

    • Four (4) individual auxiliary outputs, each selectable for 12 or 24 volts
    • PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) resettable fuse protection — the power distribution box resets and restores power without needing to replace a physical fuse
    • 2 individual access controller power outputs (powers two modules in one housing)
    • Battery charging output for up to two 7 AMP batteries
    • Metal cabinet houses all wiring and batteries, with multiple mounting options, knockouts, and wire tie-down loops for fast installation
    • e3 monitoring of AC power and low battery status
    • Fire release input enables the power distribution box to release all attached devices (access doors) when a fire alarm is activated, for easy egress from a locked facility
    • Integrated bundle offers 10 amps of power, 1 amp @ 12VDC or 0.5 amp @ 24VDC per output
    • Notification upon AC failure or low battery
    • Field-upgradeable from 4 outputs to 8 outputs with the Upgrade Power Distribution Kit
    • Temperature rating allows installation in cold or hot zones such as poorly ventilated utility closets
    • IEC 5' cord included
